I need to upgrade to WINDOWS 98 SE to get my web cam to work, and I don't know what I need to do. I've tried going to www.microsoft.com and doing it there, but it didn't work. And advice on how I can do this?

Windows 98 is officially discontinued and out of support from Microsoft. If you don't have 98SE yet, it's really time to buy a NEW PC with XP on it, if you can find one before they ONLY have vista (spit)
If your machine is that old it still have 98 1st edition it won't run the newer cam so good anyway. But you WILL need a 98SE cd

You need to get a Windows 98SE upgrade CD. What version are you running now...Windows 95? Check on Ebay for a Windows 98SE CD.

It sounds as if you need to upgrade your entire PC and get at least XP or Vista if possible
