When my Birdy gets in a certain mood, he will bite the crap out of anyone who touches him. He's been this way for 9 years. Are they all this mean, or did I just get lucky?

Birds bite and Green Cheeks, other than mine, are no exception. Learn to read your bird's body language, pinning eyes, growling, and lunging with beak are signs that you're about to get bit. Below are some sites that you might find helpful.

You're just lucky I guess. If you want tips on how to train him to stop randomly biting, you can go to my website http://www.cockatootrainer.com/biting/

One thing I've found with some of my birds is that if they have a favorite toy like a bead or string in their mouth, they're less likely to bite randomly because they don't want to drop their toy. I would try this first because it's the easiest thing to do!

Birds have a personality thats why we like um as pets. You might of got a bit unlucky but when hes in that mood id just pay him no attention whatsoever birds are social so you refusing to socialise with him when hes like that might help after a while
