Yes, and it is so sad and unnecessary.People get angry and defensive about their beliefs being attacked, and use the "H" word a lot. How can we stop? We tried this once before here. Try to think of something good to say about a spiritual path that you disagree with, and then TELL that person. Defenses come down, and the other person is more inclined to think that you are not such a bad person after all and even though you disagree, it is OK to disagree.
This actually worked for some people. Christians were saying some very nice things about pagans, and vice versa. It was great!
I wish people would use caution in using such a strong word as hate. Disagree, OK, hate is a very dark force.

It bothers me no less than the word "love" and I see that word more often around here than the other, although I'm not really paying attention to words per se, just to the potential story beneath the words

it bothers me more that everyone who doesn't agree with someone else is called hateful.
I don't like lime flavoured ice-cream, therefore, I hate those who do. make any sense to you?
