Sit at Ivey's table. You know his style (I assume) but you won't be betting right after him or right before him , which will minimize the damage he can do to you. The other players at the table will also likely be intimidated by him, so you could use that to your advantage. Never sit next to a pro with a big stack. They will obliterate you. So avoid the Negreanu table. Avoid the table with strangers because it would be a complete crap shoot as to how to play. At least at the Ivey table you have insight into one player and you know people will be reacting to him.

I would sit across from Ivey, simply because doing so means I'm at a table where I'm under the radar. Nobody's going to be paying attention to me. Nobody's going to be watching. The chances I'll be in a hand with Ivey are slim. And the pressure of playing with a pro will have people just a little bit off their game. I wouldn't sit with Negreanu simply because, as one poster said earlier, stay away from skilled players with huge stacks. You will get hurt. Bad. But the influence Ivey will have on the table means I'll have one rock solid opponent and 7 who are a little flustered. And THOSE are the ones I'll be targeting. One shark and 7 fish is a better table than 6 moderately skilled players who are cool and collected. Give Ivey the respect he deserves, and make the rest of the table pay you off.

Honestly It doesn't matter! If you decide to play the biggest mixed game in a world, you're ready to play against the best in a world. All it's going to happen, is giving you a great experience. That's why you came at the table. So take a seat and play your A game. Learn, enjoy and do your best. It's going to be a long session and great poker.
Several answers above suggest you to remember the way those players play, for what you see on TV......It's going to be a lot harder than that. You can't compare, a tournament poker, with a cash games where you can (like the pros does) lose 1M in less than 3 days.
If I walk into Bobby's room it's to play with the best in the world. That's why I'm here with my 100K. So yes, I voluntary seat with them. If I want weaker player, I play lower limits.
Take care

I would start off at the table where you don't recognize anyone. You are probably as good as most of those players. You may be a pro, but I would not voluntarily sit with Negreanu until I was up some and playing with winnings. Same for Phil Ivey! Good luck I hope you get that chance.

Well, Negreanu will get luckier than you and Ivey will outplay you. I would probably go with the table of unknowns. If the seat was to the left of Negreanu so you could act after him then I might consider that table. But, in the end I would choose the table of unknowns anyday. Much easier to play an average unknown player than a pro who is loaded.

Depends, Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu are pretty good, now if you've watched the WPT enough, you might be able to figure out what they're doing and be able to keep up with them, especially if you are confident in you skills. Other than that, i think you should stay away from the pros as much as possible until you know for sure if you can play against them or not.
btw, Daniel Negreanu is amazing.

Sit at Daniel Negreanu's table. Reason why: A) to play against the worlds very best. B) It will be entertaining while you play. C) If you have seen him on TV you may know a thing or two about how he plays.
D) It's Daniel FRICKIN Negreanu!!!
E) He doesn't reraise much as he likes to see a lot of flops and outplay you from there. If you think you play well post flop you'll have a chance to prove/test that.

I would sit with one of the pro's, Negreanu and Ivey are good cash players so it doesn't matter. I am not going to sit with them to give them my money. I would want to sit with them to play with the best and everyone else at either table is probably going to want to throw money away saying that they played against a pro so maybe you can reap some of the rewards of that.

apparently there are two seats at that table for a reason (and neither DN nor Phil find it a compelling enough game to move).
Having DN directly on your left will make for a long night.
Sit across from Phil and stay away from confrontations with him.

since you came to win, you should definitely sit with the people that you have never seen before, because they can't possibly be as good as daniel or ivey...and if you sit with either of them there is a much higher chance of losing, and even if you win you can expect to win much less against them
