Hellmans Real Maonaise is better.
I wouldnt think of using Miracle whip dressing.
Miracle Whip is usually used by people who don't know how to season dishes properly. It's also used when making mass produced deli type salad. (Yuck)

I always prefer to use hellman's because it doesn't have the bitter taste that Miracle whip does

Myself I would go with the Miracle Whip, I really like it. But I have found that most people don't. You'll be better off with the Mayo because there will be no complaints.

Hellmans. Miracle Whip is too sweet and covers the flavors of the other ingredients.

I like to mix them together. I use 2 spoons of mayo and 1 spoon of miracle whip. that way it gives it a little tang, but it's not too sweet.
