the reality is, that while adultery is punishable according to the UCMJ, nothing will happen to him..UNLESS he is an officer and you are an enlisted person.

nobody 'forgets' for 2 solid weeks. in any event, you will get NOTHING from this guy, until you prove that the child is his. which means paying fro a DNA test on your own, and then getting a court order for child support and requiring him to provide Tricare insurance. you, however, are entitled to nothing at all.

as far as the military is concerned, this is a civilian matter(except in the instance noted above). the person who will get him intothe most trouble, is his wife.

Ok am going to speak my mind and i don't care how many bad ratings you guys give me.............you all are fussing at her calling her a s l u t and what not but nobody has said a damn thing about the man!! he's a w h o r e for stepping out on his married wife!! so if the girl got pregnate OH WELL it will serve his a s s right for cheating and be a reminder for being a cheating dog!! Anyway....girl go and get everything you can ...the military will take good care of dependents....make that jerk sign your child under his tricare (military health insurance) when he or she is born, get your child support that WILL be coming to you because the military make sure that it is paid, and if you want to ....go to his supervisor or the mp's and report it.......more than likely he will lost some rank, money, and respect......GO AND GET YOURS!!

Yes he can get in a lot of trouble. If they find out he will go to captain's mass which is sort of the military way of going before a judge and he could be thrown in the brig. The military takes that kind of thing very seriously. It could be even worse if you are in the military, or a government employee. Losing his benefits may be the least of his worries.

By the book yes, but in real life no.

It will your word against his. The military is not in the business of policing peoples private lives and you will not get an ounce of listening time from anyone in his chain of command.

If you want child support and he doesn't just agree to go along with things, you will need to go to court and get a court ordered DNA test and then get the child support court ordered before you get a cent.

You FORGOT for 2 weeks to take your birth control pill?????
BS I say you wanted to get pregnant with this guy and never cared that he was married. Now that he isn't leaving his wife for you you are trying to get him in trouble with his job. There are too many women like you in the world. If you didn't want to be in this situation you shouldn't have been having sex with a married man and you wouldn't have FORGOTTEN to take your birth control pills for 2 whole weeks.

No pity here except for your unborn baby,

Sorry for sharing the truth with you. I have seen this same story a million times with people I work with on both sides of the fence. The one that suffers are the children that got caught up in the game.

If found out he is in a whole world of poop.

The army frown on adultery and he will be posted straight out of the unit and get a chat (without coffee) with his co ...

Without being nasty .. you knew he was married and you really should not have gone there..

I know it takes two to tango but if you are serving you will be ruined too and posted out and it will be on your file

I feel sorry for his wife and kids and i think you should be worried about if you are pregnant or not rather than thinking of his education benefits .

He was not obviously thinking of them

it depends on if its truly his kid from the way you sound it could be any bodies your no better than him cheating for sleeping with a married man. if he doesn't want to hand over his DNA to prove that's his kid then no they cant do any ting about it and it cost lots of money and court fines to get a court ordered paternity test. you have to pay for your lawyer jag is free to a solider and its not one lawyer it will be many jag lawyers.

chances are his wife either loves him and wont believe that some crazy woman is prego with his baby or shell make a big deal out of it either way he can deny he was ever with you in the first place and he has lawyers that he doesn't have to pay for to fight for him. he may loose his wife in the end obviously he dosen't care too much for her anyways and you'll run of a ton of lawyer cost. so you'd be one to lose more than he will in the end.

there are many cases like yours and you willing knew he was married while having sex with him so you could be introuble for plotting against him getting pregnant andconspiring to runin him.its happend before in court both people think there right and the jurry or judge could rule infavor of him.

don't get me wrong he can get in serious trouble the military does not take adultery lightly and he can go to jail but its going to be a court fight its not like you can just stomp in there and say its his kid and he looses every ting there will be a heavy battle in court the military needs its soldiers so the military will put forth the cost to protect its soldiers legally.

Alright, here is the story, I'm a former military, and seeing someone married and having an affair can get him in trouble. What would happen which I seen someone get in trouble for was having an affair. Its up to the wife. If she wants to F-him over. He'll be put in the brig and dropped in rank if they higher ups hear about this situation. And if the wife gets involved with the command. You can not keep this low key is because if you do have this child he will HAVE to pay child support, and thats when it all goes down hill. I don't know if you want to get an abortion, its not my chose to make but yours. He will not be kicked out but at work he'll be looked at as an adultry person.

Indeed he can. Adultery is an offense worthy of dishonorable discharge according to the UCMJ. Senior officers were prosecuted and drummed out.

Sexual harassment is a lesser charge, though. One of my sergeants made a lewd advance on a female soldier in the motor pool. The sergeant was an idiot and a real jerk to subordinate soldiers, so when he was busted to E-1, everybody could not wait to say "hi" to Herb and put him on some crap detail.

So I'm sensing that you want to tell someone about this... him, his wife or his command? Sooooo... you forgot to take your pill for 2 weeks, you had an affair with a married guy and now you want to see what you can get out of the deal? Women like you should be spayed!

Adultery is a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. He could, in theory, be court-martialed. A conviction could result in loss of rank and, therefore, pay. I say could because his Commander would determine how best to address his violation of the UCMJ. There are other options, although I don't think that administrative separation would be available in this case.
