It should be fine. Some dogs, just like some humans, are lactose intolerant, but you probably would have seen a reaction from your dog if that was the case. I know yogurt is really good for dogs if they aren't allergic. I would not recommend giving him an entire brick of cheddar or anything like that. Cheese does contain a lot of fat, and too much fat can lead to severe diarrhea and can cause vomiting. Everything in moderation! Hope this helps!

yes. dogs love cheese. i always give mine chedder cheese when they have to take a pill or for teaching them tricks. Mine learned roll over the first day. I think it was because i was giving him cheese. Also i have to give my older dog pain pills sometimes and he will only take it with cheese of peanut butter. Also i have been giving them cheese like 4-5 times a week for about a year. So basically no it doesnt hurt them at all. I have a Pembroke welsh corgi, Shih poo (shih tzu/ poodle) and a black labrador.

Most dogs like cheese. Like with humans, too much can cause constipation.

Cheese is a handy tool for giving dog a pill.

Cheese is alright for a treat, but don't get carried away.

Cheese isn't going to kill them or anything but if they eat to much it can give them a upset stomach. Dogs don't posses the enzyme to digest dairy so it can give them diarrhea and can also give them some unpleasant gas. If you use cheese as a treat just keep the portions small.

My dog loves cheese too! I also use it to give hima pill. I think it is fine, as long as she doesn't eat it everyday. My dog, Freckles, likes American cheese. :D

No, it isn't bad for them. I have a 6lb dog that LOVES cheese. I don't feed it to her alot, but she loves it. I asked the vet about it and she told me that as long as I don't give her too much and it doesn't make her sick, it isn't bad for her.

Cheese won't hurt your dog and in a way is actually good for her but it will make her gas REALLY smelly.

i give my dog cheese when he needs to take a pill. as an occasional treat/ time for a pill it's OK, but dogs would do better to not be fed it too often.
