I've been inviited to a bachelorette party for a girl at work. The theme is "Honeymoon in Hawaii". I don't want to be too risque as I don't know what the couple is like in that department and I don't want to embarass her either. They seem somewhat of a quiet, relatively reserved Italian couple. Looking for tasteful, unique, different ideas. Something appropriate and in line with the theme, that will be loved and appreciated and that is different or unique enough for everyone else to be saying "I wish I thought of that". Any ideas?

Start with one of Franko's dive or surf maps...They're laminated, so you can take them to the beach without ruining them (I recommend the folding version, 'cause then it can go in a backpack or pocket).

Put this in a beach bag, along with some supplies for a day outing...Sunscreen, towels for the beach, water bottles and perhaps a small insulated bag to bring along some lunch. You could also add in a compass, just to be sure they can find their way back to the road, if they start hiking inland!

I'm not good with poems, but add in a hand-written card that encourages them to go to the north coast of Maui (between Kahului and Kapalua). The tourist maps say that it's a dirt road, but it is fully paved...This part of the island is one of the most romantic places on the planet. It is very sparsely populated, so you don't see a lot of other people...The vegetation goes from tropical jungle to African savannah in minutes, and you are literally on the edge of the earth. It truly feels as if you're there with your honey, and no one else exists or counts.

As part of your gift, write them a little poem or just a little card wishing them happy wedding or a great honeymoon using some hawaiian words (can look some up on the internet)

Make them a basket of items
How about getting them robes and then like masaging oils, scented candles, nice candle holders, then put some different fruits in there. And some chocolate...

My friend did this as well. We bought little beach bags and filled it with the essentials, lotions, oils, sandals, beach towels, disposable waterproof cameras, chapstick, and that fun stuff!!!
