they're a mix of real spirituality and nonsense. I think that's because that's what Bhaktivedanta was about. I think he was an enlightened teacher. I visited one of his main disciples a few years back and he was very enlightened, which meant his guru was as well. They are typical of the bhakti path, long on devotion, short on thinking.

I believe in GOD. Meaning I believe in Brahman, Yaweh, Jah, and Allah. All the same Lord to me for GOD is ONE. No matter how much comes from the origin. I do not consider Krishna the one all be all. For he himself was raised to Vishnu and Vishnu is a reminder of Brahman. I know Krishna is a very good 'man'. That is why many Hare Krishnas can subtley explain how GOD is a man yet still have the unkown still open to be Supreme. I have just made a covenant yesterday to no longer eat beef for the respect of Krishna. But I also don't eat shell fish or drink caffein on the respect of Moses(pbuh). And I 'know' Islam to be the True religion of GOD(Allah). I will answer to HIM Alone on the day of resurrection, but many will give Allah an ugly face. Not cool. Allah is the Most Beautifull. That is what I know just as the Hindus teaches one to do. To 'know' and not to 'believe'. I follow facts inshAllah(GOD willing). Just as Allah teaches revealed by the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh).

Now that we are on this topic, here is something I accept whole heartedly with my entire being, even when it is against myself. The prophecy of the 10th avatar of Vishnu: I don't know if you accept Buddha(Guatama) as being the 9th avatar or not, but I do. There is still the 10th avatar to come. That is Kalki. But the funny thing about it is that he is not destined to come till the last of the devotees is no more. In my system, there is only one whom fits that mold. That is the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh). For he is the last of the Prophets of the True Lord. This is heresy/haram to most, but I am not most. I am only one. The thing is that most conjecture they know what is to become of existance for this planet and things that stemmed, came, and existed on it. For none but Allah knows all. Take care. Peace!

FYI- I have never met a Hare Krishna in my life. But heard one speak on youtube.
