It's really good, but really not all that noticiable depending on what all you put into your meatloaf. Try the stove top stuffing instead of bread/cracker crumbs and see if you like it better.

no need in cooking the stuffing, just add to ground beef mixture, cooks while the meatloaf cooks.

If salt is a problem, add less of the other seasonings, since the stuffing has a mixture of seasons for the flavor.

I liked stove top better than breadcrumbs, it had more flavor. No matter what i add to meatloaf it always tastes a little bland. I also tried French's Onions which helped to add flavor.

Stove Top Meatloaf

when i make a meatloaf, usually it never turns out the same. either i had something different or i dont. But my basic recipe is: 2 lbs hamburger 1 box of Onion Soup Mix 1/4 cup ketchup 2 eggs 3 slices of bread torn up in small pieces. In a bowl mix the hamburger, and both packages of the onion soup mix the ketchup, eggs, and bread. Then heres where i start adding ingredients. add 1/2 cup BBQ, and numerous shakes of Soy Sauce. I even add spices to it to like thyme and rosemary. it all depends on what u like. my dad always tells me that i when u make a meatloaf u can never fix it the same way twice. As for stuffing, im not a big stuffing eater but when i do want stuffing i just get the Kraft Turkey Stuffing and follow the directions on the box.

Oh I've done that! Much more flavorful than even Italian crumbs. I've even used Stove Top for bread crumb toppings on casseroles. The difference is amazing.

The only reason you would put crackers or bread crumbs would be to help it stick together. Putting crumbs with seasoning in already would make it even more flavorful. I'll try it next time, thanks!

I have, as a matter of fact, I use it to get different flavorings into most of my ground meat recipes. Pork stuffing in ground turkey is very intriguing.
