WHAT atheism ideology?? Atheism is an absence of belief in the existence of deities. That's it. That's all. No more.
Just because the concept of a personal deity is comforting doesn't mean it ought to be believed.
It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Maybe, but the most hostility comes from the religious wanting to kill each other (READ: Muslims versus Christians throughout the years).
An opinion, not a true statistic. Lovely. Guess what? We need food, water, shelter, and comfort. Yay. So really, human comfort provides 25% of what we need.
That's not a full sentence. "Since people that believe in GOD find 100% comfort in everything they need." In short, religious people get 400% because they have 100% food, shelter, and so on? Interesting....no wonder rich ministers look so fat.
You know, I'm pretty comfortable without God. I live pretty good, and I eat well. You know...maybe you have some bias...
If I'm running at 50% right now...I think I can handle it. I'm not so miserable that I need 100% comfort at all times. I do pretty good for running at 50%. Huh.
So, this is, essentially, a way to insult atheism and call all atheists weak, miserable, stupid people that aren't living good. Thanks. This must be that Christian kindness I hear so much about...
Atheism is not an ideology, by the way. Why the emphasis on atheism? Do you really hate it *so* much that it needs *stars* around it?

You're making those numbers up, pulling them out of thin air.
Belief in god provides false comfort, but there is always lingering doubt and uncertainty, especially since bad things continue to happen to believers.... While there is absolutely nothing except your false witness to claim that god is 50% of comfort people need, I'd actually suggest the reverse - god makes people more stressed out.
Think about it, christians live in stark denial of observable reality, they have to distort truth and look to the lies and fallacies of apologists websites just to feel the "comfort" and even then it's a hollow, unrewarding affair. Could this be a part of the reason christians are so often hostile, insecure and hateful? Probably.
By contrast, Atheists are generally the happiest people I know. They have no need of false comforts that require the denial of reality. The acceptance of truth itself is a comfort, as is enlightenment, education and living a fulfilling and moral life. All of these things Atheists excel in.

1. Christians do not find "100% comfort" in their religion.
2. Being too comfortable is a *bad* thing because it lets you forget all the suffering people you could be helping.
3. Atheism is not an ideology, though there are popular "ideologies" to subscribe to if you don't have a religion. There's this little area of study called PHILOSOPHY that has been all the rage in intellectual circles for the past 2500 years.

i think and I'm just guessing, but maybe the comfort of atheism is that you don't have to keep up a religion, because to be honest it does take a lot of time and dedication to do everything that is right in the eyes of God and to fully call yourself a christian.
If an atheist has no religion they have no need to remember to read the bible, to pray, to thank God, to go to church etc.
Then that is comforting that you can just live, not following any commandments, just your own morale, not worrying where you're going once you die etc.
As a christian though i must say, just stop asking these questions, if you're on a mission to change people, it's not happening here; because here most people have a firm opinion here. And these constant questions of yours are making Christians look arrogant and rude, and inconsiderate for other people's choices of disbelief.

"What kind of comfort does the ideology of *Athiesm* Provide?"
It serves one's need to be at the center of the universe and to act like an *** towards everyone else for having Faith in something.
So the "comfort" comes from their ego.
Of course, that being said, I do know some athiests who simple can't find a reason to believe and don't act like asses towards other people for their Faith. They sometimes even admit that they wish they could find faith in something but right now they just don't see it.
Technically that's still ego, but everyone has their own path.
I respect others for having their own beliefs (or lack of belief, which is still a belief.

I will be honest. It is a hard question for me.
There is no comfort in the knowledge of our eventual deaths. Still, we do not withhold this knowledge from young adults. It is the truth, and must be dealt with.
I find no comfort in being alone in the universe, in being finite. It does appear to be the truth, so it must be dealt with.
Sometimes I feel like the wind just blows trough me. Some nights it is hard to sleep, because I know death could come in the dark. I find no comfort in the truth.
If you have found a feeling of safety, who am I to suggest you put it aside? It's just that I can possibly turn from what I see clearly as the truth to find comfort.

people who believe in God don't get 100% of everything they need...if did then most would not be running around aimlessly looking for more faith or whatever.
Anyway it gives them answers that they are more comfortable with, a freedom from comparing clothes in a special building, a lack of feeling that you should go force others to believe as well.
Basically some believe in X, some believe in Y, some believe in Z, etc. We all pick what works for us and stick with it. Be it God or no God or anything in between.

Isaiah 42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

I agree that religion can provide comfort to some people, but providing comfort does not mean it is correct.
If you believe in god, you do, and if you don't you don't.
And for the record, not believing in god is not an 'ideology' it is merely an absence of belief.
The desire to be comforted should not even enter the equation if your religion in your own words is based on belief and faith.

ideology???? well me personally, people that need constant comfort are weak people. being able to get through the hard times and being independent is what makes you. human comfort is all a person should need. to me if you find happeniess in a god, well thats good. thats all that should matter. but i dont, i find happiness in many other things.
