I am only eleven, and I have my period right now. But I have been sleeping on my side every night that I've had my period. It's just a bad habbit when I do have it. But anyways, today the back pain kicked in from my back not getting the comfort it needs. I've tried resting it on the pillowing, laying on my front-side...and back...and still nothing. It aches really badly and my mom gave my Midol (about five minutes ago) saying that it'd make me feel better...and so far JUST PAIN! Anyone have any tips to make my back feel better? Please help! It hurts really bad and now I am getting a stomach ache!!

The Midol should help - it works like Ibuprofen, like a muscle relaxer. Try a nice hot bath or a heating pad on your back. Those heated patches that stick to your back really work well too. If it continues past your period, accompanied by frequent peeing or urge to pee - you may want to visit with your mom about seeing a doc.

Feel better - getting your period sucks! : <

Take midol a menstrual pain relieving pill found in drug stores. consider in investing in a heating pad to put on your back. Do body exercises and stretches for your back daily. Especially before your cycle comes. The pain will reduce and occur less often if your back gradually increases strength. you dont have to use weights just floor exercise are good.
Visit your doctor if you still struggle with cramps.

Hope you feel alot better soon.

The Midol will help soon enough, but maybe you should take a hot shower and let the hot water beat on your back. Maybe you can get a heating pad for the future. take a nap.
Good Luck-

Try a heating pad and a nap along with the Midol. I always got more relief from Pamprin than Midol.

The pressure you are feeling is great! You are feeling the baby's head pressing and helping you to dilate, your body is getting into the ready position! Keep walking- real contractions will radiate from the top of your uterus to the bottom, moderate cramping is usually false labor

It's severe cramps. Sucks don't it. Drink lots of water and cranberry juice. I have one of those giant exercise balls - I lay over it on my stomach and it kinda stretches out my lower back - feels better. you should try it.

Aww poor you. :-(
You might feel better if you stretch and exercise but other than that your best bet is to take some tylenol or ibuprofen
