With those that are illegally here?
Should they start living 2-4 families in a house to make them competitive? Would that solve some of the problems?
If they would just lower their standard of living to those that are illegally here, wouldn't they be able to live on the wages that the illegal makes and then be able to take those jobs too?
Would this be acceptable for American citizens...would it make big business happy?

I'm sure big business would be thrilled. Unfortunatly for many of us......there's those other pesky laws like housing codes and insurance and taxes and all that other dribble we wouldn't be able to afford either. Either from finances or breaking the law. I mean if that's what it means....and we don't qualify for all the freebies....what's going to be left? Flood the system with Dr's and lawyers and drive down those professions? Make being a computer programer as valuable as a hotel maid? Lower our standard of living how low? They'd certainly have to change some things if they expect the area here to forget their cars and go to bikes. They're gonna have to change their laws to make it so we can have other cheaper options for heat etc. My computer and TV are my "treat". I'm sure not shopping at ritzie stores, traveling abroad, eating steaks and organic foods after my trip to the day spa. Many jobs here don't pay enough to just cover utilities.....forget anything else. Alot of rents are more than 2 people with 2 full time jobs (lower wage) can afford. That's not food or anything else. Forget kids and affording a landscaper or a night out. And they wonder why theirs so much crime. Oh but we are having so many new job oppertunities!!! Ye-haw....another Cingular wireless store that employs 4 people!!! Another Mexican restaurant that just employs their family. I mean there's only so low you go. People won't be happy....business may be for awhile.....but if people can't afford to buy things....they've just cut off their nose to spite their face. Very, very rich and very, very poor. Heck....they've built on every stretch of land here....where would they put the tent city for the majority who live here? LOL
Good going Doc. I hit debt free 3 years ago. Everything I have I own. Small house etc. All within my means. Problem is...they keep raising taxes and raising prices and the jobs aren't keeping up with the basics. Now it seems all they want to do is take now what people have spent their lives getting. I can't go any lower than where I am now. One illness....and bam...all gone.

Why should we give up what we have earned our entire lives?
We should live at the standard of living we are accustomed to living.
We should be working to raise the standards of living for Americans living in poverty, not those of illegal aliens.
If shamnesty passes, they will give the illegals status as they have proven in the past.
As history shows, I have no confidence the Senate is really interested in securing the border or it would already be secure.
We should give up nothing, but shamnesty could force it upon us.

We need to forget about color and religion. Our country is in trouble. Americans come in all shapes colors and sizes, but.......we are Americans. This is what should bond us together against the world. Do you really think any other country gives a damn what happens to America? Heck, they are praying for our death. Lets focus on Americans, of all colors.
Listen........this is America and our country should put Americans first in everything. Immigrants should not have any rights here at all, lets take care of our fellow Americans first. America is NOT the lifeboat for the rest of the world. We dont owe anyone a damn thing except to our veterans.
Other countries dont even allow immigration........there is no real reason we need immigrants anymore. Let the people from other countries build up their own country, dont run away and try to hide in America. America was built at a price of blood.......most immigrants today are cowards in their own country, thats why they try to hide here. Americans are willing to die for our country, but the immigrants obviously would rather let someone else do their fighting and sacrifice for them.
There are PLENTY of Americans ready to work for a decent wage. We dont need immigrants. The H1B visa program is a scam by big business, dont believe for a second they cant find any qualified Americans to take a job.
Its time we took back our country and maybe even changed the form of government we have. We are no longer represented fairly, the representation is for the wealthy and special interests.
The Americans in our country come in all colors and religions. There is no race involved. What IS involved is simple......this is OUR country and we dont want anymore damn immigrants........got it?
People, we built this country and many of us shed blood for our country, we deserve to have a home, secure from foreign invaders. An illegal immigrant is a foreign invader.
America is in a death spiral. We cant carry the weight of every crybaby immigrant that wants into our great country.
We need to put a MORATORIUM on all immigration, until every single American is taken care of first.
AMERICANS FIRST........then..maybe...a few immigrants here and there.
We Americans May be closer than we think..........to that special time...........time to lock and load

No...big businesses are taking advantage of these poor people that are trying to scrape by. If those people could drive a Lexus and be in a big home-I know they would. But these penny pinchers are taking advantage of paying them little money. I guess that's how the world works.

Should they park that gas guzzling SUV and can all of those credit cards? Should they (we) start living more within our means? Yes!
I am not big business. I am a small business owner. I live in a double-wide and while I DO own both my cars outright, they both have well over 100,000 miles on them. If my wife and I stay on our current financial plan, we will be debt free in just over one more year.

No they should get an education and move into a more prosperous sector of the economy. I do not feel sorry for anyone who does not take advantage of our education system. If someone works hard in our education system, they can get ahead. Those who do not get no pity from me.
