well, last september or october, I was driving home from school, minding my own business. I was stopped at an intersection, and there was this car right by me. Anyway, it was a green light and I was going to go across until I saw a little girl standing right in front of my car. and she looked like my ,then, older cousin, who died when we were kids. I didn't know what else to do, because the kid was just standing in front of my car. so i started to honk my horn. The person in the other car beside me proceeded across the street. I was still honking my horn when I heard this big crash. Pieces of cars were flying every where. And it really freaked me out when a gospel CD landed on my car. Some car had ran a red light and hit the car the was next to me. Everyone was okay, some people had cuts all over themselves. but their cars were totaled. and when I got out of my car to see if everyone was okay, the kid disappeared. i don't know. maybe i was going crazy or something. If I'm not, then it might not have been a ghost , but it might have been something.

LOUISIANA GHOST STORY
This happened about a month ago just outside of Cocodrie, a little town in the bayou country of Louisiana, and while it sounds like an Alfred Hitchcock tale, it's real.
This out of state traveler was on the side of the road,
hitchhiking on a real dark night in the middle of a thunderstorm. Time passed slowly and no cars went by. It was raining so hard he could hardly see his hand in front of his face.
Suddenly he saw a car moving slowly, approaching and appearing ghostlike in the rain. It slowly and silently crept toward him and stopped.
Wanting a ride real bad the guy jumped in the car and closed the door; only then did he realize that there was nobody behind the wheel, and no sound of an engine to be heard over the rain.
Again the car crept slowly forward and the guy was terrified, too scared to think of jumping out and running. The guy saw that the car was approaching a sharp curve and, still too scared to jump out, he started to pray and begging for his life; he was sure the ghost car would go off the road and in the bayou and he would surely drown!
But just before the curve a shadowy figure appeared at the driver's window and a hand reached in and turned the steering wheel, guiding the car safely around the bend. Then, just as silently, the hand disappeared through the window and the hitchhiker was alone again!
Paralyzed with fear, the guy watched the hand reappear every time they reached a curve. Finally the guy, scared to near death, had all he could take and jumped out of the car and ran to town.
Wet and in shock, he went into a bar and voice quavering, ordered two shots of whiskey, then told everybody about his supernatural experience.
A silence enveloped and everybody got goose bumps when they realized the guy was telling the truth (and not just some drunk).
About half an hour later two guys walked into the bar and one says to the other, "Look Boudreaux, ders dat idiot that rode in our car when we wuz pushin it in the rain."

My friend was trying to sleep in her room (she moved) when her trash can lifted up and flew across the room.
I don't know if it's true or not, but she seems to think so.

My mother in law died 2 days before my son was born. (She lived out of state) Several weeks before she died, she bought a lotto ticket & won $100. She mailed me a letter with $50 in it and she said this was for her grandbaby Jason. (We did not settle on a name for the baby yet & the name "Jason" was never even thought of) The numbers she played were the numbers of the date I was due to go in for a c-section. She had been promising that she was going to fly down to see her grandbaby born, but had been in & out of the hospital becase she was diagnosed with lung cancer. She said she was going to keep her promise anyway and come down, that nothing was going to stop her. Well 2 days before my son was born (09/02/93) we got a call that she had died at the hospital. They said she had pulled her tubes out & tried to leave thru the elevator. Anyway, on the 4th I had my son, but was very sad because my best friend - mother in law had died. I was out of the hospital on the 6th and in our new apt. Baby was sleeping in his crib in the other room.( I had been weeping the whole week because I was very close to my mother-inlaw.)Anyway, the day I came home with the baby, on that same night I would hear the baby's mobile music going on and I would hear muffled sounds going across our floor leadiing up to the baby's room. This happenned for about 2 weeks straight. I would peek in to check on baby, and he would be asleep but mobile would be turning on it's own. (I never wound it nor did husband) This all took place around 12am every night for about a week then it suddenly stopped after that. I truly believe it was my mother in law, keeping her promise. A week before my mother died of cancer at her home(June 2000), she kept telling me to tell my 2 grandmothers (her mother & my dad's mom) to leave because she could not get any rest. My mom said they were sitting at the foot of her bed drinking coffee & talking to each other. I argued with my mother that I did not see them. (Both Grandmothers had passed away one in 1998 the other just that Feb 2000) Anyway, my mom kept insisting that they were there, she even told me what they were wearing and that they were looking right at her & talking. This went on for about 2 weeks, up until my mother died on the 7th of June 2000. My mother came to me in several dreams after she died. Sometimes I can smell her around, by smell I mean is her cigarette...she was a smoker. At our home, neither I nor my husband smoked. So sometimes I can smell a cigarette burning. Every now & then I still dream of her.
