I think if you look into the history of it, you will see that it was founded upon Christianity almost 100%, the god-given superiority of the White race, their god-given right to own slaves ordained by their lord Jesus Christ and antisemitism.
The KKK was in fact seen as freedom of religion.

During the Great depression it became socialist as well.

With the depression it concentrated on Christian racism and antisemitism again and became anti-socialist.

And Morris Dees, the Jew, undid them.

And todays American Christian Taliban is the KKK's natural progeny.

Does anybody have historical facts that contradict this?

I don't know where you get your facts but I find nothing in my Bible that teaches that white people should be racist. And no true Christian could have had any thing to do with the KKK . The Jews were the choosen people in the world but they rejected Jesus, and the Jews were slaves and were prosecuted far longer than the black race and are still at war to this day to survive. Do you have historical facts to back up your crap I don't think so no one can see the heart of man except God or did he give you that power. If you want to say some white fools were racist and white supremist I will agree. But no true Christian had anything to do with the clan now can you prove differently.

Just as the Taliban and Al Quid ea use Islam as an excuse to terrorize.

The KKK Uses Christianity to terrorize.

There is nothing Christian about them

The Klan was originally formed as Social Club by ex confederates

The obvious problems with the delusion that they are/were a Christian organization is their hatred for Jews... Since Christ was a Jew this ultimately means they hate Christ something it's impossible to do and be a Christian. They are and have been deluding themselves into thinking they are christians, but there's no reason to let them delude you.

The first rise of the KKK was POLITICAL. They organized themselves to keep black from the voting polls since they voted republican. Funny how things shifted in the 30's. Anyhow, they were threatened by blacks at the voting booth. The SECOND swell of KKK was against blacks, Jews and catholics, but a las this was also political. Jews catholics and blacks tended to vote one way while white baptist voted another.
The KKK was founded on political fear and is still run by social fear. Yes they are awful people who hide behind a bible and a sheet, but they don't work in the "name of God." They just work in the name of fear and hate.

Yes unfortunately, however there is nothing in the Bible about white supremacy like if that was so why would Phillip have been translated to minister to an Ethiopian Eunuch (to an Ethiopian Princess) - if God was a white supremist supporter...

Oh gosh that is feral... No I cannot contradict you, however I know this is not God's desire... God in to all the World - uttermost ends and preach the God news making diciples in my name - (nothing about whiteness...)

To be honest, I can't understand why black people would want to be christian in the first place. Many of them are very interested in their history, yet they fail to see how christianity was forced into them. It wasn't kind.

I don't think so. Originally, they were an organization that would try to capture slaves that ran away.

Yup. Preachers would continually be photographed taking offerings from large groups of hooded Klansmen.
