One good homemade mask recipe:
1/3 cup plain whole milk yogurt, 1tbsp. honey & a bit of ground oatmeal. Apply a layer & leave it on for 10 mins. Rinse off w/ tepid water.

Yogurt - loosens dead skin cells
Honey - humectant w/ anti-bacterial properties
Oatmeal - optional; soothes & helps remove dry skin

Face mask recipe for oily skin are: crush up 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water or aloe to make mask.

For combination/oily skin: apply thin layer of plain milk of magnesia. Let dry for 15 minutes or so. Rinse w/ tepid water & face cloth. This helps tighten pores & get rid of excess oil.

You can make a paste of baking soda & water to make a face scrub. Be sure to rub it GENTLY over your face to remove dead, flaky skin.

It relies upon on what variety of dermis you have. whether that's oily, you're able to make a paste of water, oatmeal and honey and use it as a masks weekly. whether that's dry, an avocado masks works great besides.
