LPG Vaporizers are used for vaporizing liquid fuel gases (i.e. propane, butane, natural gas) or even other gases for use in various heating or other processes.
The gases are stored in the liquid state, usually in pressure vessels similar to the propane tanks that you see standing ouside of many facilities, and even homes. When stored as a liquid they take up little volume.
Then when the gas is required, the liquid is flowed thru a heat exchanger type vaporizer.

In many industrial cases the gases are stored to be used only in case of an emergency, where the main fuel gas supply might be cut off or unavailable for some reason.
