I cannot fathom what level of depravity would cause someone to ask a question like that. I pray for you.

Is this a troll job?

There is nothing accidental about what Chris Benoit did. He is a murderer plain and simple and doesn't need 3 hour tributes. The guy killed his 7 year old son.

If people truly understood how these things work you would realize it actually takes a good bit of time to kill someone via strangulation.

Depending on lung capacity and oxygen absorbtion, A person passes out after 8 to 12 seconds, after cutting the blood supply off to the brain, so they are no longer moving or flailing, just laying there choking. About 15 to 20 seconds of no oxygen they start to convulse. At 45 seconds to 1 minute brain damage can start to occur, however if released they still will breathe and live.

You basically have to hold a stranglehold on someone for a good two minutes or so to actually get them to the point that their brain is no longer functioning and sending signals to the heart and lungs and they die.

Anyone who has been in a competetion or fight knows that 2 minutes is a hell of a long time. Of which a minute and a half is sitting there holding a strangle on someone who is completely limp aside from a few convulsions. It takes a great deal of malice to be able to do that sort of thing.

Then to do the same thing to your own son?

It isn't like the movies, a person passes out first. Then you have to keep holding a choke on them for quite a while before they actually die. It takes a pretty sick individual to do that, and it takes someone with the knowledge enough to know that you have to keep strangling someone long after they pass out to actually kill them.

The same goes for smothering, obviously it doesn't take as long with a child, but it still is something that takes over a minute, and that is a hell of a long time.

Chris Benoit's horrible murder spree is not funny, nor accidental, it was pure malice and psychotic beyond any reason.

People don't need to be mourning or paying tribute to him. They need to be mourning his wife and child.

Sorry for the book but that whole situation is just insane.

No actually now that more time has been given to the autopsy and the evidence it is looking more and more like the wife killed the son and then Benoit killed her and then himself. but only time will tell, until then it is all rumors!

That's just the rumor mill going wild. As a matter of fact, police have released very little information about the details as this is an ongoing investigation.

It seems doubtful, I read that he strangled her to death with a fight, she was tied down also. He didn't kill his son till a few days later, then he killed himself up to an entire day after that. Seems really screwed up.
