Just curious if other cultures used their deity's or deities', as the case may be, similiarly to how Christian influenced ones do.

I understand and agree that swearing may be inappropiate, lower class, and just plain down-right useless, but that's not the point. I'm interested in non-Christian cultures' customs.

some "non-christian" cultures even say jesus christ as a swear word and don't believe in jesus.
