I think you could think of it that way. And you could also say "do you realize how BIG the world is". Most of us inhabit a small portion of the world and rarely or never leave it. It is easy to be closed-minded in that type of environment. So many never encounter different ages, ethnicities, lifestyles, income levels, and cultural traditions. But I do understand what you mean. I saw a map of how small our galaxy is in the whole scheme of all we've mapped. It's amazingly small.

think about the universe and you see how small the earth is think about atoms and quantum physics and you see how big the earth is. As Einstein said, everything is relative.
