JUst a hypothetical Q. If Yahoo was to organise a gathering for R&S regulars: would you attend, what do you think you would talk about? Do you think you would talk R&S or something completely different :) Would you happily mix with everyone.

Then people couldn't just pretend to drink. I bet I would still get asked "Why are you here?" awesome!. I only have 2 hands would need more drink storage.

I honestly think the Pagans would most likely turn up in force and the Atheists, there would be others but I get the impression these two groups would be least threatened by eachovers ideas and I have been at partys with both with out it even entering conversation. I don't walk around at partys saying "Hi I'm an Atheist, what the are you?". The Muslims would also be there, if they are one thing it is confident.

I personaly would end up leaving after the third or fourth drink, I'm not a lightweight I just don't like laughing in peoples faces when they are serious.(And I already have a drink in each hand).

I would go if Yahoo was to organize a gathering for R&S Regulars.

I've wondered the same thing(s) before and asked a question about what the other regulars think it would be like if we threw a party. Most said they thought it would be fun and I agree.

I've also wondered if we would actually talk about R&S if we all got together and I actually don't think we would. My main reason for thinking this is because I've talked to regulars on the phone before and we didn't talk about R&S. I think that when you are actually speaking with an individual in person or on the phone, you are usually more interested in getting to know that person rather than arguing with someone that you realize you actually don't know. I think we would eventually get on the subject of R&S but doubt it would be quite as heated as it is here since we don't have the comfort of sitting behind computer screens and keyboards.

I would most definitely happily mix with everyone and there are plenty regulars who I'd be interested to see how they act in person as opposed to their online aliases (like the WSIDR hehehe).

i'd totally go, it'd be fun trying to figure out who was who because not many people have a photo on here or 360. i'd happily mix with everyone but yeah, we'd definitely end up talking R&S at some point because it's our favourite subject. i'd want to find out all about the people i've been talking to or who's Qs and As i've been reading for so long. i think it'd be quite a pleasant and civilised affair.
i wonder if anyone would come as their troll rather than themself, that'd be amusing.

Oh yeah ... I'm there. I think all the deleted accounts should be invited as well. It would be interesting to see if some of the "you're going to burn in hell" vocalists would sing the same song in someones face as they do hiding behind the cloak of anonymity. Either way, I'd be smiling and mixing with everyone.

I would go in a heartbeat. Aside of having my own reasons for going, it would be nice to meet some of the people I've been talking to for the last year or so- and I don't think I would really go to argue with anyone about anything. I'd just be there for the free beer.

I would go, most definitely. I think we'd be surprised at how civil most people would be. Some tend to use the internet as a venue to say things they wouldn't say in real life. At least I hope my fellow Christians would behave and not waste their breath threatening everyone with hellfire and brimstone.

And to the person who suggested a costume party...brilliant!

I think it would be awsome! And yes I would attend. If it were close enough that is. I would love to meet in person and talk. I would happily mix with everyone and yes probably would talk about R&S as well as ourselves and our lives.

I'd go and I'd have a blast. We'd talk R&S for awhile, laugh at some of the things we all find funny, then we'd probably move onto other things. I think it'd be awesome.

I would attend

I would talk to anyone with an open mind

No the conversation would not have to be about R&S but anything else on our minds

tempting
that would depend is it on lets say a cruise ship....

and would talk about day to day life and just like to see some faces, and I would not be opposed to R&S to some extent, just keep it friendly and we would all have a good time. and in the end I can get along with just about anyone.
