No. I never have and never will support man's law over God's Law. If my nephew were gay and wanted a "civil union" (I hate that so-called logic. They claim they are accepted by a majority of Americans, yet need to try and ride the coat-tails of the Civil Rights Act to secure minority legal status for their perversion) he would remain forever invisible to me.

Of course. Love is love.
In fact, I would make a POINT of going to protest the current state-sponsored marriage discrimination, despite having the Constitution that says ALL citizens should have the same rights - including marriage.
If one believes in separation of church and state - and I know that is saying a lot in this category - then they should support the Constitution.
Note that people who want to ban same-gender marriages must AMEND the Constitution to support their hatreds. What hypocrites!

Such shameful answers... If going to a place would put your walk with Christ in jeopardy then you need to evaluate your spiritual life.
Bah I say! Go... We are called to bear the image of God and love others and witness to them not just with words but with action.
You are that person's christian witness and you would dare to not be a part of that person's life?
The only way you wouldn't be exposed to sin would be to die so...

That's a very difficult question. I would not attend because I would not support the union/marriage as it is a sin. However, I would still love my nephew and even his partner so I would not cut them out of my life. They would still be invited to family functions and treated with love--I just couldn't condone the act of the sin.

A sin is a sin is a sin. BUT...
it doesn't mean one sin is greater than the other in God's eyes. The Bible says it is an abomination, just like several other practices.
BUT... the Lord has commanded that we love one another.
It's your nephew? Does he know how you feel?
The laws of this world do not make it right in God's eyes.
BUT... If you are against it, because you are Christian, show him kindness, tolerance and love... and go.
--- Just like all of us, maybe he will turn away from his sins some day.

It's not the homosexuals who should worry about going to hell, it's all the hateful idiots who answered this question with "he would be dead to me" or "I don't want to go to hell for supporting a sin."
Don't judge your nephew; go to his ceremony and show him that you love him.

I would not attend the service. My interpretation of scripture does not allow for homosexual union. It would be very difficult and I would need to find a way to let them know that I loved them but can not affirm their lifestyle.

I am not a believer and yes, I would attend a same sex wedding of a friend of family member.
What is so frightening though, is how many people would disregard their own families happiness due to their own religious beleifs.
"They would be dead to me...."
come on, that is just scary.
