I'm preparing a nigerian dish called matillobosh, It includes BBQ'ed cat hinds cooked and served on red oak bark and I have no idea what to serve as appetizers or as a side with the entree.

Oh that reminds me of growing up with me parents back in the poor days. We ate cat alot! We usually snacked on roasted beatles while we waited for the juicy cat. We always had corn and fresh green grass from the yard as our side dish...the grass is really good if toasted slightly in the oven and drizzled with a bit of my little sister's urine.

How about fricasseed dog served on black walnut planks, osage-orange salad and mixed silverbells and wahoo. That should bring them back for more.
