There is a Def Leppard concert tonight that I have had tickets for forever. Both of my parents want to go, but there are only two tickets, and I'm dying to go. the seats are in the back, so thy aren't great. But anyways my dad loves the band, and so does my mom. I want my mom to go because my dad is incredibly embarrasing, and my mom is fun to be with. i'm just not sure if it will upset my dad. who should I take? I NEED HELP!!!

I'd take your mom. It would be so much fun.

I saw them in concert a while back and it was AMAZING. I totally love it.

Flip a coin - let fate decide. Forget about your Dad being embarrassing if he is the one who gets to go - you'll have fun and or least be able to look back in a few years and remember what a dork he was at the concert - you'll get a free smile every time you think about it! OR, if it lands on your Dad, give up the other ticket to your Mom because you know they will have a great time together and you are a great daughter.

Good luck!

Take your mom and tell your mom that you're worried about your dad's feelings.... SHE can make it up to your dad ;-)

Have fun! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to a Def Leppard concert with my daughter! That would be the ULTIMATE mom and daughter time!!!!

Your dad will get over it... if he's like my hubby, he will probably pout and whine but he will be fine.... besides, Def Leppard is definately a chick band in my book!!!! Tell your dad just that.... "Silly dad, Def Leppard is a chick band!" Maybe he'll get the whole "macho" thing and back off a little!

Have a blast!!!

That's a tough one... Wait.. can't you get any more tickets? Are they all sold out already? If there isn't any way for the three of you to go... Maybe you can take a moment and ask yourself if you can afford to just let them both go instead... It'd be a great thing to do, in my opinion... Still.. if you can't let them both go... then (although it might not be the greatest idea, depending on the type of parents yours are) go talk to them about it.. maybe they can help come to a decision with you.. I hope it turns out for the best...

I wouldn't choose between the two of them, is the show sold out? I would take them both and buy another ticket at the door. OR go on ticketmaster and buy an e-ticket that you can print off right away. I don't think it would be right to take one and exclude the other.

First of all, no question is stupid. Who purchased the tickets? Put names into a hat and draw them out. I'm sure mom and dad are mature enough to handle it...

Let them go and throw a keg party at your parents house. If they are true Def Leppard fans they will be SO proud!

Tell them you only have one extra ticket and they have to decide who goes. In a crowded concert with the lights down low your dad really can't do anything too bad, so accept whom ever they decide.

Take your mom. Someone is going to be upset either way. So you may as well not be embarrassed and have a good time and make your mom happy at the same time. Kill two birds with one stone so to speak.

Give the tickets to them and let them go together. This will get you brownie points from here to forever.
