Hi there. B&W loudspeakers have been around for a long time .They are one of the most respected names in the loudspeaker industry.Of the 400 brands of speakers available there are only 15 or so really good speaker manufacturers and B&W is one of them. The most important requirement with any speakers is the power amplifier's ability to control them.In other words the power amp must be able to deliver it's full rated output to the speakers with a specific load (impedance) without distortion.
As to the question how good they are only you can decide that by listening to them.I would not buy them myself because the small enclosures do not appeal to me but that is my opinion only. Everyone has different tastes.

B&W make some really nice speakers for their price. I'd highly recommend checking them out. Remember though, you need to hear them for yourself as everyone's ears "hear" differently. So what sounds good to you might not sound good to someone else...but it's your system, so get what you like.

You can't go wrong with B&W's, as long as you're using the right model for your application.
