How do you make a collage of different pictures on your computer?

I wanna make like a backround for my computer that has like tons of pictures in it. How do I do that?

You will need a graphics editor that works in layers. A few that come to mind are Photoshop, Corel Draw, and Gimp. The first two are expensive, but GIMP is free, and it is a full featured editor and painting program. You can download it for free at:
