you should eat something before working out - its not healthy to do anything on empty stomach and can lead to many health problems including diabetes.
have some complex carbs like a whole wheat toast or banana.
you dont burn more calories or fat when working out on empty stomach - read latest researches!!!

As long as you have an empty stomach.Yes, if you want to awaken your growth hormone, and who doesn't? Growth hormone will begin to seep into the circulatory system towards the end of the exercise session but will cease if you eat to soon after exercies. If you don't want to kill the growth hormone postpone your first meal for an hour. Drink water only. Your first meal following exercise needs to be rich in protein, nothing that high carb will do, no matter what diet you are on carbohydrates will kill the effects of the growth hormone. So skip the bagel, doughnut or toast and have a fritata ( crustless quiche ) with a chicken breast or a couple of ozs of steak.
If I didn't know about exercising on an empty stomach I would not believe this eaither. If you are eating healthy, you can exercise on an empty stomach...this doesn't mean you must be hungry, it just means that your stomach should not have any food in it. I'm not talking about burning calorites, I am talking about the growth hormone, which coincidentally, will burn calorites. I just went for a 20 minute walk on an empty stomach. I am drinking water then i will lift weights for 20 minutes. I will not eat for another hour after that but , like I said, if you want to activate growth hormone, this is the method. My son practices this and he is quite a muscular little guy.

Working out before breakfast is ok if you are young. However there is extra growth harmone produce during and a short time after your workout. If you eat within 30 minutes of the workout the extra production stops at that time. If you want to optimize the benefit of the effects of the workout, wait 30-45 minutes after the workout. If you don't have time don't stress over it, you shouldn't notice a lot of difference.

what is the break in the middle for? Why do you stop? What is it that you are doing when you say Workout? There are a few factors that contribute...but
if you are working out your cardiovascular system, it's fine...it you are just weight-lifting, I'd definitely recommend you eat something prior...light...NOT a donut or empty starch, but rather a packet of instant oatmeal or half an apple...get your metabolism going and give your body some fuel to burn.
eating something, like half an apple or a peach will help get your metabolism going prior to your workout.
but again, that said, it would help to kn ow what you are including in your 'workout'.

Sure that aint going to harm anything.Your fine doing that but after your eat breakfast i would recommend you waiting atleast 30 minutes to a hour before excersizing.

It's fine to workout that early, just make sure you are hydrated. It's very easy to be dehydrated after not drinking throughout the night...

You should go with how your body feels. Some people need to eat something before they exercise but you may not need to. If you start feeling sluggish you might want to eat something. Always consult your doctor though.

HM I don't think so.Exercising on an empty stomach.well it could depend on how tough the exercises are.Usually when someone does that they get dizzy or get nausea.
