No mucous in nose, has allergies a bit too, but that is not causing the mucous.

You should take her to the vet. When cats get an infection, that mucous stuff comes out their eyes. The vet will give you stuff to put in her mouth or give her depending on what it is. Take her asap.

Your cat could have gotten something in her eyes like a piece of grass or something else. This could be potentially dangerous. First thing I would do is take your cat to the vet and let the vet take a look at her eyes. He may give you drops and just tell you that it is a one time infection or it could be something worse. The last thing you want is your new kitten to go blind.

If it is an eye infection, you have to put eye drops (Tobrex) on her eys 3 times a day, for at least a week.
However, sometimes eye mucus is a symptom of another disease, like rinotracheitis. Does she have mucus on her nose too? Does she sneeze? Does she have a fever? If the problem is this one, she will need an antibiotic. Is she vaccinated? We can't diagnose over the internet, it's best to go to the vet.

I would buy some Terramycin antibiotic medicine. This helps for invections. I use it on my cats, once when one was attacked before I adopted him, the vet gave it to me, and once when my cat had the flu. It works really well and lasts a long time. A tube costs about 10 dollars and can be bought at pet stores that sell anitibiotics such as drfosterandsmith.

it may be chlamydia - cats can get it VERY easily as it's highly contagious. My sister in laws kittie had it when he was a kitten, clears up wit an injection and creme from the vets.

Take her to the vet ASAP... If the mucus is reddish/brown or green/grey she could poss have a URI.. If you have other cats that can be very contagious.. Best of luck
