There are many scriptures that can explain this to you . Start by reading the Book of John (the apostle of love). Remember...God so loved the world, that He gave us His only Son. If He would sacrifice His Only Son for our sake he won't let our human mistakes get in the way of His ove for us. We are His creation and He will stop at nothing to reach us. Although sin is the only thing that God cannot indure, His Agape love is immense like the heavens as is HIs forgiveness toward us when we repent.

God loves us because we are His special creations. We are made in His image and given a soul and free will. Think about it like this, if you draw, or paint, or sculpt, or do anything in art, you feel a sort of love for the thing that you created. The reason? Simple, you made it, not some one else. Therefor it has a special value that only you can truly appreciate. By the same token, God made us, so only He can truly appreciate us for what we are. Also, He is not limited by human sight. He can see into the future and He can see into our hearts and know what truly goes on in there. So it is from the perspective of the creator that He loves us. And even His most unrully creations have a chance or twenty to ask God into their hearts and recieve salvation.

This is part of the myth, a part of the story leading up to the coming of the saviour or deliverer. The idea of all sinning {from St Paul: 'all have sinned and come short of the glory of God'} is to create the need for a deliverer. It is an ancient device found in many stories. A loving or hating God is all part of the personification of the Deity. Keep up the search and God bless you.

In answering questions like this it's very hard not to sound religious so here's a go... I think the reason God loves us is b/c he created us, how can a wonderful parent hate his child (mistakes or not). And if you truly love someone your willing to do whatever it takes to keep them in your life. So god gave his son and if that's what he had to die for the ppl he loved he was willing to do so, and how does a child not sin unless you are the one only gift(Jesus). Good Luck 2 U!!!

God is love. We find that in I John 4:8 & 16.
There are four Greek words translated as love. One of those words is "agape'." Agape' means to love a person in spite of what that person does. That is the kind of love that God is. It is simply his nature to love us even though we all sin.

We are God's children and part of God...the best of human parents love their children although they sin - so much more loving is our Heavenly Father.

Sin is judgement of man.
God is Love. God is All-That-Is. Therefore, Love is All-That-Is.

Why did your parents love you even when you did not listen to them ? Think of that, only better.
As for the strange questions on God "torturing" sinners, I am sorry to say they just don't get it. Those sinners will find it more torture to stand in the light of God with all their sins hanging out as filthy rags. You cannot blame God for their seeking out the darkness in order to escape the light! If the demons get vicarious pleasure in torturing those who find no option but to stay out of the all revealing light like they do, that is not God's doing! It is just a situation of like minds turning on each other, self-inflicted torture, free choice and free will.

That is a really good question, the angels wonder about it too...
We are made in His image, the only creatures he has made that are in that unique position.
He loved so much, He let Jesus be the sin sacrifice for us.
It is not a question we can really answer.
I guess we shall have to ask Him someday...
