Does Target use a drug screening test on its potential employees?

I have an interview on Thursday. Does a drug screening test come on that day as well, or are screening tests used randomly, or on a need basis? When I say need basis, I mean do they test you if you're acting funny on the job? If any former or current employees can verify, it'd be very appreciated.

Yup they do a drug screening.

They hand you a paper and you have to have the drug test done within 24 hours or you have to go through the whole thing again.

Dude, the drug test means that they are serious about hiring, and it is usually scheduled after an interview and before calling you in to work. Any of the pitiful, low-paying jobs in America, you gotta pee. I've even been to other interviews where they wanted me to pay $50 for the test. (I told 'em to f*** off).

They test if your suspicious looking or acting funny and they do the testing randomly for employees. However they do drug test for new hires.

Yes you have to do a drug test but you have 72hours from the date of the interview. Hurry up and study

I think most employers will screen employees that they suspect of using drugs on the job. If you honestly can't live without drugs, I would check into a treatment plan.

yeah they make you do a urine test and your contract says that they can do random screening but they wont usually
