ok, appart from bit's of sheeps guts that are proberbly not very safe any way, I'm talking about modern condoms. It is obvious to me that the reason JC taught against PMS was to do with desease and babies. Condoms get rid of that problem. He may well have known the future, but there was still 2000 before things changed enough for him to worry about!
I just think that if the 2nd coming was to happen tomorrow afternoon, JC would update the records, 'tis all!

You are very naive.
Jesus says that marriage should be when two bodies become one, implying the action of sexual intercourse. This means that the action of sex should only be with one person due to the experience of a couple coming together and becoming one.
And anyway, condoms are not 100% safe anyway!
Also, if the second coming were to happen, we would be judged and it would too late to change!
You are very naive.
However, to answer your question, whether there was contraception or not, yes, the bible would still teach against pre-marital sex.
And why does it bother you so much?

The Pope isn't following God in that element. there is not any data interior the bible that helps the "evil" of condoms. Having 12 ravenous youngsters and utilizing up invaluable components is a techniques worse than a condom. The pope is concept to have the flexibility to talk God's will whether this is not authentic of path.

Whether or not the condom had been invented then is irrelevant really as pre-marital sex is a severe cause of the promiscuity we are seeing in the modern age. If everyone kept to one partner then where would all the STDs come from? where would the pre-marriage pregnancies come from..especially amongst teenage girls, some of whom are unable to cope. Who would be sleeping around?
There is much to be said for what the Bible recommends to those who can see the truth.
Best wishes, Mike.

The bible would still teach against pre-marital sex. Although prevention of disease etc was part of it, a main idea was remaining pure.
Anyway, Jesus is eternal. He obv. forswa the invention of condoms/the pill etc but he still taught against pre marital sex.
God bless

The restrictions on sex are due to the neuroses of the barbaric savages who invented them. So the answer is yes.

It has little to do with possible pregnancies....more to do with valuing people as more than sex objects for our gratification.
