Most people is missing something very important vey disturbing at the end of the story.
Newborns. Childs. Innocent offsprings. Grand-childs...
The FATHER refuses them too. What is it doing with the arogancy or punishment of our BOY?

the father has a strange way of showing his love. Look, the kid got kicked out and that seems to have been the last thing the father did for him. The father's effed, hopefully the the son gets over it - adjusts as the psychologists say - and raises his kids better. No doubt about it, the father's the bad guy in this tale.
And no, I don't find the story realistic at all. Those lifelong grudges are extremely rare and not nearly as interesting as they sound (they take incredible amounts of energy, what with keeping the memory of the hurt alive all the time). Most people forgive pretty fast, there's just no other way to stay healthy.

Everyone gets that you're talking about how Adam was cast out of paradise for a time, yet your story really doesn't give a very good comparison. Let me give you a better one by changing a few words in your story:
A man has a rat, loves it, raises it in a very nice home with huge garden. Rat loves his owner and respects him. But the man has some strict rules. For example, rat shouldn't eat apples from fruit bowl because they are his apples. One day rat starts eating apples. He got caught but doesn't get killed. Man understands what happened and got angry. Rat was influenced to eat the apples by the so called Friend Mr. Ant. Father gets very angry as boy listen to friend but not him. instead of burning rat alive at that instant, man instead tells rat that if he can stay in a cage for 30 seconds without eating an apple I will put in there with you, then I will allow you to dwell in my home forever and eat whatever you want with endless pleasures, but if you do eat it then you will burn. Rat doesn't eat the apple in the cage. Man gives rat everything his heart could desire, and offers the same deal to all of the Rats offspring. After being warned, some rats eat the apple and others do not. The man stood by his promice, those who ate it were burned, those who didn't enjoyed endless pleasures.
Apple=original apple/sins
rat=Adam/mankind
30 seconds= average life span (this is actually quite a fair representation considering that mankind's test is on average only 70 years then an eternity of life, and if you reduce 70/infinity...well it would be really small)

Let's make some adjustments, shall we?
A man has a GROWN SON, loves him, raises him in a very nice home with huge garden. SON loves his father and respects him. But the father has some strict rules. For example, SON shouldn't eat POISONOUS FRUIT from trees. One day young MAN pulls an apple from the tree and ate. He had a pain in his stomach AND WAS DYING. Father understands what happened and WAS GRIEVED. Boy tells to father that a friend of him told apples can be eaten from trees. Father gets very UPSET as boy listen to friend but not him. Immediately REMOVES HIM FROM THE CAUSE OF HIS DEATHLY DISEASE. CRIES OUT with EMOTION: NOW YOU WILL NOT LIVE FOREVER, YOU WILL DIE AND WE WILL HAVE TO BE SEPARATED. Young MAN is alone. He TRIES TO FIND WAYS TO EXTEND HIS LIFE SO HE CAN BE TOGETHER AGAIN WITH HIS FATHER. Never happens. Father PROMISES TO FIND A WAY TO CURE HIS DISEASE. Boy grows on street in a LIFE STILL BLESSED BUT NOT WHAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN. But finally he gets a job and a decent life, marries but even his children HAVE HIS DISEASE. All this time boy never loses his love to father...
cont...
HE EAGERLY WAITS FOR HIS FATHER TO FIND THE CURE FOR THE DISEASE AND TELLS HIS CHILDREN THAT ONE DAY HIS FATHER WILL HAVE A CURE.
THEN FATHER REVEALS THE CURE FOR THE DISEASE. HE WILL USE HIS OWN BLOOD TO FORMULATE ANTIBODIES AGAINST THE POISON. NOW ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IS TO GET THE INJECTION AND THOSE WITH THE DISEASE CAN BE HEALED AND LIVE FOREVER SO THAT THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE SEPARATED FROM THE FATHER BY DEATH ANY LONGER.
THE FATHER IS GRIEVED ONCE AGAIN BECAUSE MANY OF THE CHILDREN ARE AFRAID OF SHOTS AND STILL WANT TO GO ON EATING THE POISONOUS FRUIT. THEY WON'T TAKE THE MEDICINE. SOME SAY THE DON'T BELIEVE IT WILL WORK, THEY THINK IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE OR JUST TOO UNBELIEVABLE. SO THEY GO ON PRETENDING THEY AREN'T SICK AT ALL. FATHER LOVES THEM AND PLEADS WITH THEM THROUGHOUT THEIR ENTIRE LIVES TO PLEASE TAKE THE MEDICINE AND LIVE WITH HIM FOREVER.

The parent was wrong in disowning his son over this.
Yes, his son disobeyed but that is no reason to throw his son out of the house over this. Did this really happen to someone?
The son was being like most children are, curious & mischeaveous. He could have just put him on time out or gave him some other kind of punishment. Good grief!

In teresting story, but what is the point? Has nothing to do with the story in Genesis. Not even close to what happened there.
In Genesis God provided everything that his man (and woman) would need. However there were something that they were not yet ready to handle.
It is similar to the way that all humans are born with their sex organs in place, but are not yet physically, mentally or emotional ready to use them. They need to do a lot of growing, learning and maturing before they are ready for that experience in life.
In the garden was a tree which would give the knowledge of good and evil - or what Christian theology refers to as "free will". The tree was there because God intended for man to eat from it - but not until he was physically, mentally and emotional ready to do so. He needed to do a lot of growning, learning and maturing before he would be ready to handle moral decisions. When it was time, God would have given the fruit to eat.
Instead man jumped ahead, and took that knowledge against the permission of God. It is like a young child who is molested. That child is not able yet to handle the experience and is harmed by it for the rest of their life. So the man was not yet ready for the experience and was armed by it for life.
Within the garden was also a fruit that when eaten would cause a person to continue to live forever in their current spiritual state. If the man were to eat from the tree, it would no longer be possible for God to save him. His spiritual condition would be fixed for all eternity. So it was necessary for God to separate them from what would have eternally damned their souls. His removing them from the tree of life was an act of love designed to protect them.
"Free will" is the right to be able to make moral choices but then reveive the consequences of those choices. One of the consequences of "sin" is death. It will always cause a person to die. God warned them about that consequence when he warned them away from the tree of knowledge. Sure enough, once they sinned, death began to operate in their lives.
You seem to think that God totally abandoned them after that. If you actually read the Bible, you will find that he first promised them salvation from their sin in the coming Messiah, Jesus. He then gave them a system of sacrifices to cover their sins until Jesus came. That way they still had full access to the presence and person of God. God was there when Cain started to turn evil, and warned him away from his actions. God was there to protect the other family members by exiling Cain to where he could not harm them, and to mark Cain so that they would not harm him. God was there to bring comfort to Adam and Eve in the form of a new son, Seth.
You will find God continuing to be there time and time again, not just for the first man and woman, but for every person on the earth. That is one of the reasons why there are so many religions and with similar teachings (like the Golden Rule). God has been making himself known to all of mankind since the very first day. He is never more than a prayer away from anyone.
It even went to the extent that God Himself came to earth, and gave his own life to repair the damage done by Adam, so that no other human would have to do it.
The story in the Bible is very different from the piece of fiction you listed in your posting.

This is obviously a sdlam against Judeo-Christianity, saying God abandoned us after we disobeyed. God iddnt abandon us becasue he could, but becasue he had too. God really doesnt have too much free will. he is bound to follow the Law he set up in the beggining of time.
