I'm not sure if he's into having a relationship, because my ex told me he's never seen him talk to a girl, but he talks to me everytime he gets online.
He acts like he may be interested in me, but I'm not sure. Help!

I say go for it, so who cares, its not like you were married to the guy, it might work for the best, you never know until you try, you might get hurt but you live and learn

Ive been reading some of the answers you've received (hopefully you dont mind) and Ive noticed that most people feel its really bad. I on the other hand say go for it. I mean Ive always felt that if you like someone and they like you back you need to give yourself the chance to see what could arise from it. The same way you allowed the chance with your ex. He's has nothing to do with it now. This is stricly between you and the guy talking to you. If your ex get upset or creates drama, well he needs to grow up and it would just validate more why you guys cant be together--he would be able to be a big enough man to accept you've moved on.

If he IS interested in you... I'd avoid him like the plague. Dating an ex's friend? 99% of the time it turns out to be a really bad idea. Think of this: your boyfriend hearing every single thing you ever did to tick off your ex when you were still dating, and your ex finding out every single thing that goes wrong in your new relationship. Sound like fun? Then go for it!

I suggest you like someone else because liking an ex's best friend is just asking for trouble you dont want to do that because if hes friends with your ex that means they have something in common and if thats the very thing that you couldn't stand about your ex then you dont want to make the same mistake.

In the world of dating -- NEVER date a friend's ex & NEVER date an EX's FRIEND. That is the rule of thumb on dating.

Haven't you gone through dating 101?

"If you were my ex and your flirting with my buddy that is not good.. It depends if it's okay for your ex, And for your ex's friend, if he really likes you he will go for you, so give him a go signal, A go signal is you let him feel free, don't try to make him shy because its really embarrassing sometimes when he's friend is your ex, but that's not a big case... :)"

No dating a buddies ex. It's a man-law. Unless you are REALLY hot.
