1. Please use punctuation, it allows the reader a much needed break to breathe and think about what your sentence meant.
2. This guy is a piece of **** and you probably knew that to begin with didn't you? But, the eternal stupid girl syndrome hit you and you thought he was exciting or that you could change him right?
3. Just stop thinking about him and realize he isn't **** that you need to be thinking about any more.
4. Try to choose better men...especially than the last ones.
5. Get involved in something other than sitting around and thinking about him or watching MTV all day.
6. Learn to be patient and wait. Soon he will just be some young prick that you dated when you didn't know any better.

Get away from him ASAP! He is clearly a manipulative a**hole who wants to control you. Read about the patterns of abuse!!! If you take him back he will be nice for a while again (honeymoon phase) and get you nice presents and flowers, then he'll start controlling you again and then next thing he's Chris Browning you. You were right to dump him, and you'll will be smart to stay away from him. You are not an animal, and he was treating you like a possession and an animal that he could train. Change your phone # if you have to and go at all costs to avoid him. If he shows up at your house or follows you around town, report him immediately to the police for your own safety and so he'll get the message, this might seem drastic, but it for your protection. Should you stay in contact with him and he keeps saying sorry I can change don't believe him. And he tries to say he'll kill himself if you won't take him back, tell him to do it, and walk away or hang up the phone. Obviously it is just more manipulation. It is a game to him and a way to see if he can still control you. PLEASE THOUGH, REALLY STUDY THE PATTERNS OF ABUSE!!

You like the drama or you are only thinking of the good times and miminizing the bad times. You need to stop holding on to the dream of he and you ever being happy together and this is not gonna happen. It hurts to let go because there is something you are still in denial about, best you really start seeing the truth and face it.

No it's not crazy to still be in love with your ex because your feelings for him never left when you guys broke up. It's hard to say how you can get over him,but it will happen at the right time.

its natural, once someone is a part of your life they will always have an impact on you whether you still like each other or not, you spent time together and that would have meant something. it takes me a long time to get over my ex bfs, but eventually i realise thats theres not much point thinking about them as life is far too short and its easier to move on. just go out with your friends and meet new people and over time it will become easier and you will cope with moving on, probably never forgetting him but definately moving on.

Give it some time. I had a really big love years ago. We dated for a year and she broke my heart. It took me probably a year to get over her. About the time I wasn't thinking about her, she tried to pop back into my life. I told her to "go to hell" and never looked back. It was hard, but I know it was right.

This is normal and natural. Just relax and try to go out and have fun. Once you feel happy for a while, you can clear you mind of him and get a better man

it will pass but how fair are you being with your new fella. We can all look back to good times with an ex but the reasons you split up will still be the same, look at the bad things and talk yourself round
