I don't think the free-trial version of Microsoft Office 2003 is available anymore. However, there is a trial version of 2007 for 60 days. What I did for 2003 before was use a different email address every time the trial expired. However, I don't think you can do with 2007. Either way, it isn't a wise thing do unless you spent 3-4 hours every 60 days for it to download.
I would recommend Openoffice. Slightly less features, but it gets the job done.
