Is there a way to fax a word document while using office 2007, the only options it gives is internet fax or email.

Do you have FAX software installed for your modem ? If so it usually installs a fax program "printer driver" so you simply Print to the FAX machine and the software then asks for a phone number to send it on.
If you don't have a normal ANALOGUE modem you can't do this, you are stuck with email / internet fax services.
