You can learn to live with it. How old are you? I grew up hating most everything I had to eat. My mom cooked everything the way my dad liked. Meat cooked well past well done, pretty dry. My only salvation was my mom made great gravy. If not I could have not eating most of the meat.
When I got old enough I joined the Navy. I found a whole different world of food. Not Navy chow, though most of it was not bad. What I mean is the restaurants I have been in all over the world.
I cook for myself now that my wife passed away, she was a great cook, and I eat what I like now.
Just hang in there and I will bet there will come a time that you will wonder "how did my mom cook that". I still do.

How old are you, would you think that your parents will let you cook dinner since you will be home from school for the summer. Ask and find out and then you can start making the meals for the family.

Don't lie to her about it. Learn how to cook then you could offer to cook meals for the family.

Lol, well you can let her know the truth nicely of course. Maybe you could suggest watching the food network, or helping her in the kitchen. Suggest different methods of cooking or trying new recipes together. :)

Either eat it anyway, make a sandwich, or not eat at all. Those were my only options growing up, until I started doing the cooking for everyone.

Try to learn how to cook yourself. Look up new recipes on the web and suggest to your mom that you both try cooking it together.

Either learn to cook better than she does and offer to do it, or eat it.
