You've got it right. We cannot worship Muhammad (or Jesus or Noah or Moses, may Allah's peace be upon them all), for they were just human. Allah is the only One worthy of worship. And Allah is the Arabic word for God; it is used by Arab Christians and Jews as well as Muslims. We consider Muhammad (who told his followers NOT to worship him because he was just a man) to be the final prophet, but Jesus and Moses are mighty prophets as well. (peace be upon them)

Islam is one of the Abrahamic faiths, so yes, we worship the same God as in the Bible. In fact, we study the Torah, Pslams, and Gospels. But we believe that Allah gave Muhammad (peace be upon him) the revelations of the Qur'an and that those revelations are a clarification of earlier scriptures.

Yes, Muslims do not worship Muhammad. They worship Allah.

Allah is not the same God as in the Bible. Muslims do not believe Jesus is God. They say that He was a great teacher and a prophet, but not God. That makes Jesus as a liar. Or they are liars. Your pick.

I'm not sure why Muslims insist they worship the same God as Christians and Jews. This simply isn't true. They should just own that fact and move on.

The Christian God took on human form to come to earth to die in our place in order for us to be restored into a right relationship with God. The Muslim god did no such thing.

Because Christians believe that Jesus is God, and because Muslims believe that he was only a prophet, they can't believe in the same God. Muslims specifically deny the Christian God when they deny his manifestation as Jesus Christ.

So no, Muslims don't worship the same God as in the Bible.

You've got it. Muslims worship the God of Prophet Abraham. Prophet Muhammed and the Prophets before him were among the best of humanity and deserve our utmost respect and love, but they were only human and so we cannot worship them.

There is only one God. He has no sons, no daughters. He is one and only. He is the same God who sent Moses, the same God who sent Jesus and the same God who sent Mohammad (peace be upon them all). They are all his prophets sent for guiding the mankind at various stages of human development. Muslims believe in all of the prophets (including Jesus). Mohammad (pbuh) is the last messenger of Allah (or God) and with his coming the divine religion has been perfected and completed. This is the Islamic faith.
