Have you tried calcium-fortified juices? They provide a readily absorbable source of calcium for people who don't or can't drink milk. But keep in mind that juices can vary considerably in the amount of calcium they provide per serving. For example, 1 cup of calcium-fortified orange juice may contain 30 percent of the Daily Value of calcium, while 1 cup of apple juice may provide only 10 percent. So check the label. Another drink is soy which comes in many tasty flavours.
Also you could try green leafy vegetables, such as beans, and salad greens.
In addition , there are many common salad bar components that contain calcium. Virtually all of the nuts and seeds - and especially sesame seeds - contain calcium. So do Navy beans, pinto, kidney, and black beans are all calcium-containing foods, also tofu (which is made from soy and great in stir frys.)
Other choices for you could be:-
BREADS, CEREALS, AND GRAINS
English muffin, plain or with raisins Oatmeal, Pancakes, Waffles. You can also eat dry cereal if you are sick of having it with milk
VEGETABLES
Broccoli, Spinach, Turnip greens,
MEAT, POULTRY, FISH, AND ALTERNATES
Fish and Seafood Mackerel, canned, Ocean perch, baked or broiled and canned salmon with bones.
Try instant puddings and smoothies to get milk with out really drinking it.
As you say, you are still a kid, so get mum to check out the following web sites. Hope this helps.
