Yes, I had it done on friday. He removed three moles from my face. Im having the stitches out tommorrow.
I had one removed a few years ago as well, and that didnt scar.
A skilled plastic surgeon will do a great job anyway.

My scar is fine I am very happy with the result and my was a big scar after the operation but now is quite small, it is more like a white line, my plastic surgeon was a very god one in St Thomas hospital. I advise you after few weeks to use cocoa butter with vitamin E helps a lot the skin . Don't worry you will be fine.

Any good surgeon in this day and age can keep the scar barely noticable, unless it is a very serious mole (in which case the scar would not be your main issue.)

Even if there is a bad scar, they can redo do surgery to repair that usually too.

You are seeing a plastic surgeon. Their job is to do the procedure with no or minimal scarring. Some people go to dermatologists for this and don't have quite as high a guarantee of a good result as you do. Don't worry a plastic surgeon is fully qualified to do this procedure without any scarring.

I had a mole removed from my armpit, A G.P at my local GP practice did it, He did a fantastic job, I don't feel a thing. There is a small scar but that because i know i had it there, the skin is just slightly paler than the rest around it, no-one else can see it

The surgeon should be able to advise you about this. There may be a small paler patch of skin where it was, but it will proabably be far less noticable than the mole was.

you probably wont be able to see the scars after a year or so. Let them heal and then use mederma on it. My entire face got cut open and i had a plastic surgeon stitch it back together, i used mederma for about 2 months after everything was better and not u can hardly see the scar.

Hi ... I had one on my nose and got it removed about 2 years ago. It took me a while to be happy with the results, because there's a very slight indent on the spot where the mole was. I am told however that it's just ME noticing it more because it's on my face.... LOL so we criticize ourselves more. My family and friends say they wouldn't even know I had a mole there based on how it looks now...
In saying that, overall YES I am way happier. It's less noticeable of course, than the mole was and I am not worrying about it becoming cancerous and what not! =)
I think you'll be happier with the results as well...
Have a great day, and best wishes!

Had this done myself when i was 22. I had two hairy moles on my chin that were very noticable. I was always self conscious of them.
I had mine cut off and then stitched up. It was the best thing I ever did!!! Truly you will not regret it!
They were red after the stitches were removed for about 3 months. But that can be covered with a good foundation, Then it faded within a year.
No visible scars.

And ignore the moron calling you names! It's prats like that , that make us feel we have to result to surgery!
