Do people think that perhaps muslims are too much talked about?

I have nothing against muslims in general, and respect religions even if i dont really believe in them, but muslims seem to be at the top of the news always, forcing people to respect them whereas people of other religions just get on with their lives.

There extreme views will always make the news. When you have people threatening and denouncing your way of life constantly it will make the headlines. Respect ? This is something earned not demanded :)

it's true unfortunately, but people don't want to face up to it.

Muslim countries are in fact the most intolerant of countries to anyone who is not Muslim. In fact, they imprison and jail people who try to leave Islam. Recently in Turkey, 3 converts out of Islam and their hands tied before their back and throats cut. This is normal now that the media doesn't even report it anymore. Most muslims claim they were actually being saved.

Notice how the same can't be said for Hindu, Sikh, Jewish and Christian immigrants that arrive in this country (see office of national statistics website)

More and more muslims are arriving everyday in the UK with 5 children expecting them all to be housed, offered schools, benefits and medical care. Then afterwards they moan WE have a lack of understand of their culture and plight!

its the media...who give muslims a bad name..
normal muslims who work hard,pay taxes keep their heads down because they dont want attention...

also because people see islam as threat,thats why they spend most of their time and energy hatin islam and muslims,rather worry about their own life..

i don't force people to respect me,i respect people from all walks of life...if people dont respect me then its their loss..i aint going to lose sleep over it..

don't blame muslims for being attention seekers,go and ask the media why they bother with muslims soo much..

Muslim culture has a very elitist attitude when it comes to free speech....They are more than happy to voice their controversial voice in the court of public opinion but when someone questions them or criticises them they cry foul (and often times a lot worse than that). They seem to epitomise the "Right Not To Be Offended" crowd.

the media only focuses on the bad muslims. but they are not true muslims.
to report on the good muslims who are getting on with their lives would not be good for ratings

Not forcing. They try to whine people into noticing them. Violence seems to be their only tool. Culture obviously is not something that they have learned to cultivate as a possible way to get noticed.
