what is the difference between hooking up, dating & going out? cus i always thought they were the same thing.

Hooking up is like being introduced to one another or 'meeting' each other. Dating is when you are involved in a romantic relationship and it is different from going on a date - here people are not yet involved. Going out is when you are seeing each other and could also be going out on a date.

When i was younger it was like this... Hooking up (also called messing around) is kind of like a friends with benifits without benifits- you just get together and make out, no dates, Its not exclusive.
dating is when you go on dates with someone but you arent exclusive
going out is when you are exclusive
This is how it was when i was younger. It could be different now or different in certain areas or different crowds.

Hooking up is like a one night thing. Sex, makeout, and such things. Going out is a relationship. Dating is just going on dates together.

The different between The leg And arm pit. I always **** my slave girl so brutally when I'm So angry!! I hit her and cook her!!
Sometimes Draw the dishes to her face! But you know what is the REAL YUMMY!! I Cut her Flesh from her Leg and arm.

hooking up is the dumbest phraase and i wish people would stop using it. MTV created that phrase to make it look like people are talking more about sex than they really are. think about it
Situation 1- me and that girl made out last night.
Situation 2- me and that girl hooked up last night
which one sounds more appealing. so my advice is drop that phrase all together b/c it sucks

i would say that hooking up is basically like out of the blue..kinda one nighters thing....dating would be casually going out to dinner, movies,ect...and going out is official boyfriend/girlfriend..not available kind of thing!! :]] hope i helped a little

hooking up is when u just get together on a whim, (or make out), dating is when you go to dinner,movies, ect. going out is when u are officialy girlfriend and boyfriend
