My dog gets VERY home sick and she goes crazy when im not around. i dont want to give her away or anything, any ideas?????

How long do you leave her alone? I think the best solution is to get her a companion. That way she won't be alone when your gone. I am going through the same thing right now. For now just leave the TV or radio on so she feels like someone is home.

Its normal for a dog to be naturally sad when the pack is broke up. I take my dog for a long walk in the morning and then he gets fed before I leave so after I am gone he is in rest mode and will sleep calmly until I return. I never come home to the place torn up or things chewed. I also leave on a radio or the TV for the comfort of background noise.

This just happened to me & my husband. We have two dogs (Daniel & Daisy) and one of which we just newly adopted 7 months ago. We left them for a couple days with my husband's parents for the first time. I was quite hesitant leaving her an extended amount of time. As silly as it sounds, this did work. In there overnight bag I had a picture of my husband & I, there favorite pillow, and I took some old t-shirts and sprayed my favorite perfume all over the one and my husband's favorite cologne on the other. Wouldn't you know Daisy stayed curled up in those t-shirts for those 2 days. My mother-in-law swears up and down that having those shirts really helped Daisy not be sad.

try to occupy her with maybe a favorite toy she has or maybe give her a bone before you leave. some dogs will just get over it after awhile especially if they are a puppy.
