would it really matter--with the driver of the 69 being dead. Both cars would be totaled (both uni-body)---but with Allstate insurance you would get a new 07 Charger. While the next of kin would get about $2700 unless you have collectors insurance.
With both cars doing 35 mph--that means they will hit at 70 mph. Now, at 60--that would mean that it was like hitting a wall at 120 mph. not likely for anyone to survive that one--but I would rather be in the 06 when it happened. As for damage-- it would be hard to tell which car was which. I know at 85 mph on a head on in a 68/69 charger the doors buckle and are thrown open. the doors break off and the car tries to bent closed like a note book.

I wouldn't be so quick to bury the driver of the 69 charger. Both the 69 and 06 are unibody. While the 69 is a tank compared to the 06 it is a tank with seatbelts. The 69 doesn't have airbags but the 06 does and crumple zones. My line of thinking is if the 69 had a solid body and the driver was wearing a seatbelt he would survive both accidents with some injury but would survive. The 06 with it's crumple zones would help absorb the impact for the 69.At 30 the driver of the 06 would live but would be injured Airbags or not body parts still move around and glass and glass will fly because of the force of being hit head on by the 69.At 60 the driver of the 06 would die quickly because the crumple zones would work against him allowing the 69 to push the engine into the drivers compartment.

Most damaged.
Cars: 06 Charger.
Driver: 69 Charger
Why? Cars built today have "crumple zones" which are designed to deform during an accident to absorb the kinetic energy of a crash. Cars built in the 60s have rigid, solid frames that the shell of the car sit on and don't deform as much, so the kinetic energy is transferred to the driver (who get to shake about like rag doll in a dryer).
So while the 06 Charger would be the totalled, the driver would probably be slightly hurt, whereas the 69 Charger driver would be headed for either the ER or the morgue.

the 06 charger will be totaled but the driver will live, and the 69 charger would be alright, but the driver wouldn't make it... back then it was about the car surviving, and the person bounces around like a ping pong ball on the real steel and the 06 is fiberglass, composits, and has built in "break zones" where the car comes apart to help the driver survive, unlit the uni-body of the charger that takes all the impact and distributes it to the driver

Trevor has it mostly right
At 35 the driver in the '69 is killed but the 06 car has more damage
at 60 both drivers are killed and the '06 has more damage

1st off why would you want to destroy such a beautiful car as the 69 charger??
2nd, IF you found a mint condition 69 with no frame problems then it would surely win. The vehicles back then were made with real steel and iron, not the fiberglass of today. Even the bodies were made out of metal.
