Depends on the pimple, if it becomes inflamed you like likely have some post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which will be either hyper or hypo pigmented depending on your skin color. This will take a few weeks to completely disappear.
If it is a superficial pimple with a whitehead on it, you are probably safe to pop it, if you must. A deeper pimple, or one without a head, will almost definitely leave a mark and you are best leaving your fingers out of it. You can use over the counter benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.

You need to pop it when it's ready to pop, and you need to make sure you're clean as well so you should only do it in the shower. Avoid popping unripe pimples, they WILL leave you a scar, and the red inflammation will stay for a few weeks. As what meenie said, avoid touching pimples without a head as they are guaranteed to scar you. Use over the counter benzoyl peroxide for on the spot acne treatment, and salicylic acid for skin exfoliation and to prevent future pimples.
All in all, why take chances? If you let it pop by itself, it won't leave a scar, and pimples (whiteheads mostly) will only stay for a couple of days. You will be really thankful later in life.

Not always, but it's better to let it disappear on its own because bacteria can get into it, cause an infection, and then it will definitely leave a mark. Cover it up with some concealer, but don't squeeze it. Why take a chance?

it wont if you dont pop it to where it like breaks your skin and you have a cut and get a scab
