Dilatation and Curettage (D&C)Generally performed in the first or early second trimester. The cervix is dilated or stretched to permit the insertion of a loop shaped steel knife. The body of the fetus is cut up and removed from the placenta.
Prostaglandins Injection Performed during the second trimester. Prostaglandins, naturally occurring birthing hormones, are injected to prematurely induce labor. Oftentimes the baby is delivered alive.
Saline Amniocentesis (Salt Poisoning)This method, first used in Nazi concentration camps and now common in America, is performed during the second or early third trimester. A needle is injected into the abdomen, and 50-250ml of amniotic liquid is removed. This is replaced by a concentrated salt that burns away and deteriorates the baby's skin. Within three days the mother goes into labor and delivers a dead, burned baby.

Suction Aspiration(vacuum curettage)The most common (98%) form of first trimester abortion6. The cervix is dilated, and a powerful vacuum tube with a sharp cutting edge is inserted. The suction rips apart the body of the baby, and sucks out blood, amniotic fluid, tissue, and body parts.
Partial Birth Abortion Performed during the late second or third trimester. Using ultrasound, the abortionist grasps the baby's leg with forceps, and partially forcefully delivers all but the head. Scissors are then jammed into the back of the babies skull, and the wound is pried open. A powerful vacuum tube is inserted and sucks out the baby's brain.

For all you who believe that Diana misled you with her question I have this to say. The things she described are indeed abortion procedures and they accurately describe the procedure.
However, they don’t come close to the actual results. The descriptions are bad; the pictures of the results are horrifying. If you have the stomach for it the results can be seen here:
http://www.priestsforlife.org/resources/photosbyage/index.htm
Now, the point of here question is why do we as a people allow such barbaric procedures as a method of birth control? That was the point.
Fact: 93% of all abortions occur for social reasons (i.e. the child is unwanted or inconvenient).
Fact: 6% of abortions occur because of potential health (all including mental and physical) problems regarding either the mother or child.
Fact: 1% of all abortions occur because of rape or incest.
Do we really need abortion on demand or do we need some personal responsibility? Should a woman have the right to kill her unborn child simply because it is unwanted or inconvenient?

Suction Aspiration(vacuum curettage) = murder
Saline Amniocentesis (Salt Poisoning) = murder
Prostaglandins Injection = murder
Dilatation and Curettage (D&C) = murder (unless it is being done because of a recent miscarriage)
none of this is birth control
birth control are forms of contraception that are you to PREVENT pregnancy not TERMINATE it.

This really upset me when I opened it because you deliberately used deceit to hook me in. I went into this question with kind intentions of maybe having something helpful to offer you. I am personally against abortion and so I appreciate your intent and passion. But your use of manipulation and shock tactics was disrespectful to me. I should be able to choose when I will face reading such horrific graphic material. Only I know if I can handle it at that moment. I am like most people, sensitive to cruelty and injustice, and I need to decide for myself how I can best handle absorbing information about the world's wrongs.
These are terrible practises that you describe and they do need to be brought to people's attention. If you really want to attract more supporters to this cause, be honest and straight with people up front. Use intelligence and reasoning to put forward your case. Be as compassionate towards your audience as you would have them be towards these innocent babies. When you earn people's respect for your methods, you will receive more respect for your message.
I will pray for the babies from this time on.

Thank you for sharing the truth with all of us. Its sad to think that another human being could do something so terrible as this. But I have to wonder, why is this being concealed? Shouldn't all government funded agencies be required by law, to advise those seeking an abortion about this? Or do they just tell them "not to worry, we will take care of everything"?

Why do men always take it upon themselves to declare that a segment of the population is property of another? We did the same thing with black slavery in this country and it is an insult to what humanity is, can be, and meant to be. Abortion is a disgrace to God and a grave injustice sanctioned by the highest levels of our govt.

As horrible as this is. I wish they would show this on TV. We see everything else that the medical field does. Why not abortions? It's because if people could see these things their opinion would change about these things.

Using a condom is so much absolutely higher. With the withdrawal system he would possibly not pull out in time and there could also be whatever name "pre-***" which most likely comes earlier than ejaculation and comprises sperm.

You've managed to shock a few people so I guess you got what you wanted. Hopefully anyone reading your prose has the good sense to get their facts about abortion elsewhere.

My opinion is that these are NOT methods for birth control, but rather methods of abortion, but I think you knew that already - and I am glad.
