Ever since my husband told me that I was snoring one night, and now it seems that I don't sleep good anymore. My husband doesn't think it has anything to do with that. He thinks it is stress from bigger issues, like job related, etc. Do you think it is stressors from job issues, etc, or being worried about snoring?

hi there i wouldnt worry too much my husband tells me i snore every night, I was wondering if you smoke or overweight? I smoke and when i tried to give them away my husband told me that the snoring stopped but i couldnt give the smokes up and the snoring returned. so i am wondering if that is part of your problem as well. Also when you are overweight it happens. I don't think stress has much to do with snoring but i know it can have an affect on your sleeping, I dont sleep much when i am stressed either so i can understand where you are coming from. Good luck.

I snore like a train! I think you have become anxious over nothing. I have 2 young children and occasionally even they snore. You were only snoring the one time your hubby commented on it. Perhaps it was just the position you were lying in. I think you should relax about it. If you are snoring and it is bothering your husband he can move into another room. Unfortunately this is a common human function. Take care and I hope you sleep well in the nights to come, try not to worry : )

It could be both. I know that when I get a cold I snore at night and if it starts bothering my husband I find myself waking up constantly to keep from snoring. Stress definitely affects sleeping too.

It could be both but the biggest issue is you have trained yourself not to sleep and you need to train yourself to sleep again. For no more than 2 or 3 days, take between 30 to 50 mg of benedryl. This will cause you to train your body to sleep all night. The reason you only do it for 2 or 3 days is you do not dream on this drug and it could make you more tired than you are before you go to bed.

It could be a combination of everything. It might be one more thing that you are thinking about that just kinda sent you over the edge. I wouldn't worry about snoring, most people do. Try drinking tea or something to calm you down before bed and don't worry.

Could be both. I stress about sleep because I am afraid I won't sleep. All sorts of things can cause you to not sleep good.

Its not one or the other, it may well be both. Now, what you have to do, is visualize your problems and put them in car board boxes, which you store for the night. Do this mentally, else, go and sleep somewhere else if he really minds, or let him use earplugs.
