He just wants whats from your heart
but yeah...when i was at school we had to say the angelus and i used to just mumble it until i learnt the words
lol
if you want to remember something...this might sound weird but write it up and stick it to your toilet door. so when you sit down..........you can read it! it works

Don't worry about it. God is prepared for anything that Satan tries to do to block our prayers.
Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

It isn't really the words that matter, it is the the emotion and compassion with whch you pray. There are the standard prayers, but most should come from the soul.

I'm sorry, but how do you forget the words to a prayer? I thought we weren't supposed to say rote prayers. I wouldn't like it if every time you talked to me you read something out of a book, said the same thing over and over again, or told me something that you had memorized. Ouch, that would hurt... and I would probably tune you out until you had something worthwhile to say.

Yup that has happened to me once or twice. I try to think hard what the words are (in arabic) but I can't remember so I have to start all over again.
