No. Simply put, chicken pellets are for chickens NOT guinea pigs. Chickens and guinea pigs have two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT dietary needs. Feeing guinea pigs something other than what's designed for them can lead to serious health conditions, like scurvy, bladder stones, Urinary tract infections, etc., all of which can kill if left untreated.
Guinea pigs are strict herbivores. I'd recommend checking out Guinea Lynx.com to get a good idea of recommended daily veggies and high quality pellets.

Yes! Like at the petshop or petstore they use chicken food/pellets because it s cheap. Like mine too, I have two piggies and everytime I looked into their cage they re wheeking for food and that is a chicken food/pellets. I had them for 5 months and I feed them everyday with chicken pellets but they are healthy and happy with it. Chicken food/pellets are contains vitamin C, that Guinea Pigs needs. And chicken food/ pellets won t hurt them.

You can not feed a guinea pig chicken pellets. They will not get their recommended dietary substances. A guinea pig should have formulated guinea pig pellets ( such as Oxbow or Kleenmama ), timothy hay ( Oxbow ), and lots of fresh veggies such as collard greens, kale, cilantro, bell peppers, one carrot, etc.

NO! go to your local pet store and buy guinea pig pellets and timothy hay. plz, he cant live off of chicken pellets! I am not being mean, I am just worried about him.

you should not feed you guinea pig chicken pellets you should only feed it guinea pig pellets enriched with vitamin c Guinea pigs need lots of vitamin c
