god damn! am meant to be going to london from leeds on friday, but as we all should know by now the weather is pretty bad here in leeds! what do you think are my chances of going?? only nice answers please!

Check out the trains first, lots are cancelled....should be OK by Friday though

Weather here in London is good and they should have sorted out the trains by Friday - go go go!

Flying to Stansted is the only viable option at the moment. Most train lines in South Yorkshire are stuffed as is the A1 and M1.

good destination, leeds. spent 2 happy years there as a student. if i were you, id fly to glasgow or somewhere and get a link flight or appraoch from the north

if you are really desperate, ive heard of people hiring motorbike couriers and getting on the back...

Providing you can get out of Yorkshire you should be OK. We're having better weather down in this neck of the woods than you are gettting in Yorkshire.

it is better to go by car or bus. my husband traveled by train this whole week as our car has broken down and the horrific images he sent me from the train windows were terrible plus it took him 5 hours to get to where he wanted when it usually takes him an hour and a half.

you should be ok on the train but yorkshire is really suffering due to floods and more rain is forecast this weekend.
